Optimum Health Begins with Vaccinations
A pet’s immunization needs will vary according to their environment. Our dog health care in Langley will help you evaluate the risks and address your pet’s specific needs. Puppies should be brought in for their first shots at 8 to 9 weeks of age. An annual wellness exam, with appropriate vaccinations, is strongly recommended. Appointments are booked on the half-hour.
Avoid Sickness
Puppies and older dogs are the most susceptible to infectious disease. Multiple booster shots are generally required to achieve immunity in puppies. Good nutrition is also an important consideration in achieving optimal health. Given that 70% of puppies are infested with internal parasites (worms), multiple “worming treatments” are also recommended.
Our puppy visits, start to finish, generally take 45 minutes.
